This Center under Directorate General of Highways was founded on December 1, 1978 in order to cultivate excellent car mechanics and drivers. Its organization consists of director, deputy director, Education Administration Section, General Affairs Section, Practical Training Workshop, Accounting office, Personnel office etc.
Main businesses include: car driver training license examination, car mechanics, license examination inspector training, commercial driver training institute teachers training, employee training for this Directorate General, conducting of road safety guide commissioned by various institutions, editing of dissemination materials of traffic safety etc. Various training classes carried out by this center focus on both theory and practice that favorable views are given by various circles.
To look into the future, this Center will take “being a training institute of excellent car driver and car mechanic” as vision in order to continuously promote the technique skill of car maintenance, improve traffic order and facilitate driving safety.
